Minimum Equipment List Advanced Ultralight

Does anyone know the minimum eguipment list for an advanced ultralight?

Specificaly if you need a ELT. I can't find it on Transport Canadas website.

The minimum equipment for any Advanced Ultralight is specified by its mfg.

If you want to go into controlled airspace with an AULA, Transport Canada specifies that it also needs to meet the minimum equipment requirements in 605.14.

Ultralights are not required to have ELTs. CAR 605.38 (1) is the requirement to have an ELT

The exemption for ultralights is in CAR.38 (3)(a) "An aircraft referred to in subsection (1) may be operated without an ELT on board where the aircraft is (a) a glider, balloon, airship, ultra-light aeroplane or gyroplane;"

Thanks Kathy. I was pretty sure they didn't need an ELT but I couldn't find the info on TC's site.
