G'day!

I just posted a thread concerning a strip I saw off HWY 6, north of HAMILTON ON.

One of the reasons why this strip is of interest is that I'm looking for an Ultralight-friendly strip between Kitchener and Burlington.

A friend and I are looking to go in on a plane together, and would like to find a strip that is close to both of us, is ultralight-friendly, etc...

Suggestions? Recommendations? After a recent post along the same lines, it sounds like the UPAC crowd is fairly knowledgable in this regard.

Thanks in advance!

Willy.

Willy, the strip you mention is Ken Gamble's place. Ken passed away in February of this year, he was a long-time UPAC director.

I'm not sure of the airstrip condition now but I saw that it seemed to be mowed when I went by last week. Best to call first.

Sorry to bring sad news to the forefront again. My condolences.

For years I've been driving by this place...what was his story? Collector? Anyone with that many airplanes on site probably had some nice gearhead skills that I envy.
