Insurance coverage, Posted 05-05-2010, 02:40 PM #1
Folks the Kingston Ultralight Club would like to have a fun fly. Several members raised liability issues related to this type of activity. The field has coverage under the UPAC affiliated insurance broker and the club is a UPAC Squadron/COPA Flight. Aside from the obvious 'this is not an airshow' event are their things we should or should not be doing? Thoughts.

The COPA / UPAC squdron insurance should cover this type of activity. The same type of event is the Cobden Fly-in breakfast. It is a social gathering and not an informal airshow.
