Hello to all the ultralight flyers out there on the forum!

One of the tasks of the UPAC directors and officers has been to attend Aviation events as representatives for our organization. It has proven to be a great opportunity to strengthen the membership numbers and circulate information on what we do. Having our information booths alongside other aviation groups in the same venue provides exposure and helps to maintain our presence in the aviation world. It is also a great way to introduce Ultralight aviation as an option to new pilots and future aircraft owners and builders.
In addition to the information packages, manuals, memberships that we now offer to the public we would like to include a disc (DVD / CD) with a compilation of images of UPAC members and their aircraft. Our intention is to keep this simple. In many cases people have little idea of what is out there and just want to see some aircraft. We would like to show as much of a cross section as possible so if you have a nice photo of you and your paraglider / trike / beaver / challenger / anythingwithwingsthatyoufly, we would like to include it on our DVD/CD.
If you are interested just send the photo through on this website with a little note saying that you consent to us using the picture on this disc.
I am looking forward to seeing what is out there! If you are not a member but you have a picture you would like to share please send it along to us. Please send the name of the aircraft as well so we can list the type.

We will not be offering this disc as a "fundraiser" but we will probably need to charge a small amount to cover the cost of materials.
In other words we are not trying to make money on this we just want to promote UPAC and ultralight flying in Canada. I expect that this might be something that members may want as well for their own collection. Please send any comments or suggestions on through.
