Hello Everyone!

Trevor Page our webmaster has been working hard to create an easy to use discussion forum for UPAC. The latest rendering has shown many improvements over our previous website and it seems to be paying off. Generally we have had a positive response from ultralight aviators and membership on the forum continues to grow. Thank you to everyone that has joined in on any of the discussions and to the folks that check in just to read about what is going on. The forum becomes increasingly useful as an information source as membership communication grows. Anyone and everyone is always welcome to participate and share ideas and questions on the FORUM. Hopefully the drop in readers will become forum members and get into the idea exchange! Its a great way to meet people with similar aviation interests.

During our monthly meetings there is always considerable discussion on ways to encourage and promote a strong Canada wide membership involvement. This website offers an opportunity for all club members with access to the internet to become involved directly and on a timely basis with the comings and goings of our ultralight organization.
We want your input!
Generally we have monthly meetings of the Board of Directors at our
main headquarters building at the Lubtiz farm. What we would like to experiment with is the idea of taking questions and concerns from this website directly to this monthly meeting. Any questions that can be answered appropriately over the website will then be posted after the meetings.
I also see the website becoming a monthly meeting place across Canada for the general membership to jump in and say "Hello"!
One of the things about a website forum is waiting for a week..or two...for someone to answer a simple question. Perhaps by organizing "web meetings" with arranged meeting times we can encourage some meaningful real time exchanges. It would be nice to see casual squadron meetings take place on line where issues can be brought forward and resolved. The possibilities really are endless! Let us know what you think.
