There are several changes on the UPAC websites. First, I have added a Privacy Policy statement. It is at the bottom of the left-side menu. This is in keeping with PIPEDA - the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act in Canada. Second, Park Aviation Services Limited now has a permanent banner on the site, to remind UPAC members of our affiliation with their insurance program. Third, the major change will be the implementation of PayPal as the online payment option in the UPAC Webstore. This change to a known secure payment method should raise the comfort level of purchasers as well as the administration team. Purchasers do not need a PayPal account to make payments this way. Apart from better security, the main advantage is speed - since transactions are handled immediately, there will no longer be a delay of several days before your membership becomes valid.
